Welcome To Cascade Cross Country! We are proud to have a large, successful team with runners of all abilities working hard to improve their fitness and become better runners.
Our coaches for the 2024-2025 school year are head coach Dayle Massey and assistant coach Heleene Tambet. Our captains are Alice Farrell, Caroline Menna, Ben Jerome, and Cruz Martinez.

Mark your calendars - our team camp will be from Tuesday to Thursday, June 18-20, 2024, at the Eightmile group campsite up Icicle Road. More details will be forthcoming.

2023 Meets and Results
Saturday Sept. 9 Ellensburg Relays (Irene Rinehart Park) 1.5 miles
Results are on athletic.net. Our team of Brayden Anderson, Caroline Menna, Ben Jerome, Izzy Menna, and Cruz Martinez took 10th place out of the 29 schools present!
Our runners of the meet for major improvement over last year's times are Brayden Anderson (placed 2nd overall!), Alice Farrell, Caroline Menna, Ben Jerome, and Miles Porter.
Saturday Sept. 16 Wenatchee Invitational 5k (Walla Walla Park)
Both our boys and girls teams placed 9th overall out of 40 schools! Out of the 10 other 1A schools our boys placed 2nd and girls 3rd. More great performances and PR's despite the hot, sunny conditions. Brayden Anderson continues to impress with a 4th place finish, setting a 5k school record with a time of 16:08.
Wednesday Sept. 20 Okanogan Invitational 5k (Okanogan Valley Golf Course)
Our boys and girls teams both took 1st place out of the 12 schools racing! Izzy Menna, Paige Nunnally, and Grace McDevitt had especially good races, the result of which our girls are now ranked #2 in state.
Saturday Sept. 30 Nike Twilight 5k (Cedarcrest Golf Course in Marysville)
What a great race - the girls varsity truly raced at twilight, the weather was perfect, and lots of fast times! Seven out of nine of our boys set personal records, as did six of the ten girls that raced. The boys team is now ranked 10th in state, and the girls 3rd. Now we need to continue working hard to get even faster!
Saturday October 7 Nike Hole in the Wall 5k (Lakewood HS in Smokey Point)
It was an untypically, warm sunny day, so fast times were hard to come by. But we raced will, the boys placing 8th overall out of 51 teams, and 2nd in schools our size. And Brayden Anderson placed 1st out of the 351 runners! The girls placed 11th out of 43 teams, also 2nd in schools our size, with Caroline Menna placing 16th to lead the girls. To set a personal record on such a warm day is hard, but congrats to our four runners who managed - Adyson, Alice, Grace, and Kelsea.
Saturday Oct. 14 Leavenworth Invitational 2.8 miles (Ski Hill)
Thank you to all the parents who helped make the race run smoothly. The weather held and we had some great races. Caroline and Grace led the girls to a 3rd place finish, and Cruz and Blue led the boys to a 4th place finish (pretty good since we were missing 3 of our top 5 boy runners!)
Tuesday Oct. 17 Enchantment Race, Senior night 5k

Our boys team won league for the 6th year in a row, and our girls team won for the 4th year in a row! And congratulations to league champions Brayden Anderson and Caroline Menna. Now the varsity boy and girl runners start preparing for state.
Saturday Nov. 4 State Meet at Sun Willows Golf Course (in Pasco); 5k
Both our boys and girls teams placed 8th out of the 16 teams that made it to the state meet! See the State page for pictures and more details.
